We are pleased to announce the publication of Working Paper 62 from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)’s Nigeria Strategy Support Program (NSSP) entitled “The role of agriculture in reducing child undernutrition in Nigeria”. The study examines the effect of agricultural productivity change on child nutritional outcomes in Nigeria.
The purpose of this research group is to foster greater communication between the disciplines of Agricultural Economics and Political Science. It is apparent that such an exchange is necessary in order to improve scholarly research on agriculture policy and any subsequent policy recommendations.
The International Journal of Agricultural Policy and Research. A research finding that might be less substantial than a full research paper. Short Research Communication is limited to 3000 words (excluding references and abstract). The main sections need not conform to that of full-length papers.The evolution of India's major agricultural policies is then described, and new policy directions and emerging challenges are discussed.
